Chris is the Founder and Managing Director of Rosemark, which invests and partners with companies exclusively in the Marketing & Media Technology sector which compete on the basis of translating progressively deeper consumer insights into more effective marketing. Rosemark brings proven growth strategies and the hands-on expertise to provide the support and pragmatic advice that accelerates enterprise value for our portfolio companies and their clients. A successful brand management expert with over 30 years of experience, he began his career at Johnson & Johnson leading the $1B Tylenol franchise followed by leading the retail marketing practice at First Manhattan Consulting Group. Chris’s entrepreneurial success revolves around Rosetta, a digital marketing firm he founded in 1998 which grew to achieve $250M in annual revenues and 1,200 employees. Rosetta became the largest independent digital agency in the world and was sold in 2011 for $575M to Publicis. Chris served as Rosetta’s CEO until June 2013 and as Executive Chairman through December 2013. A lecturer of High-Tech Entrepreneurship at Princeton University, he is a well-sought conference speaker and Forbes article contributor.
Chris co-authored Built For Growth, a Wall Street Journal best seller, based on Rosemark’s in-house research identifying the influence a CEO’s personality has in driving value and impact. He is a past Board Member of the Princeton Day School and The New School University. Chris holds a BA in History from Princeton University and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School. He lives in Princeton, NJ and Shelburne, VT with his wife Leslie and their three sons, Peter, William, and Matthew.
