Kristen joined the Burke Foundation in 2022, serving as Operations Manager for three years before transitioning to Communications Manager.
With more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector, she combines an eye for detail with a passion for storytelling. Through the Foundation’s Starting Early newsletter and other communications, she shares the innovations, challenges, and bright spots shaping the early childhood landscape in New Jersey and beyond—highlighting how collaboration can lead to lasting change for children and families.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Kristen completed her bachelor’s degree in international environmental studies before earning a master’s in international development from Eastern University. She lives in Philadelphia with her wife and their menagerie of pets.
